Holsapple Engravers was started in 1943 by Claude Holsapple, Sr. and his wife Effie. Claude Holsapple, Jr. worked in the business after school, sweeping floors and making deliveries. He started working here full time after his marriage to Martha in 1949. Claude Jr. ran the business after the retirement of Claude Sr. and his wife in 1978. Claude Jr. retired in 2002. The business is now operated on a daily basis by his three children: Debra Lohden, Julie Hardgrave and Jeff Holsapple, and by long time employees Ray Boyer, Sam Garza, Dan Hardgrave and Chuck Copeland.
